All Steel Engine Brackets feature double-welded construction for extra strength. The cast aluminum bracket found on some 4 cylinder Jeep Wranglers and Cherokees are prone to failure under the torsional stresses associated with even "easy" offroad trails. Once you've seen a busted cast bracket, you'll know why we continue to use these for our own Wrangler. Identical bolt pattern to the original cast aluminum brackets. No engine block modification necessary. Fits 2.5L Jeep Chrysler engines. Lipless design will not interfere with installation of 2" Motor Mount Lifts. This eliminates significant grinding and other modification of lips found on the cast originals.

High Performance 2" Motor Mount Lifts feature all-steel, double-welded construction. These are high-strength Motor Mount Lifts (MMLs) bolt into the same location as the original motor mounts. Designed to stand up to the toughest trails Arizona can dish out. (Sorry Utah, we can't stand the cold.) The original mounts, designed for street driving, simply won't stand up to the torsional forces experienced offroad. Raises engine 2" at the stock cooling fan. Customers with major modifications use these 2" MMLs. 

Ships with Grade 8 Hardware (or 10.9 metric equivalent) required to bolt engine brackets to existing engine block bolt pattern. Also includes new Grade 8 thru-bolts, lock nuts and washers for securing brackets to motor mounts. 

Application Notes:
To determine if this kit will work on your vehicle, measure the opening of the RIGHT (passenger side) engine bracket where it meets the motor mount. If this measures 2 3/4", this is NOT the kit for your vehicle. Brackets utilize existing bolt pattern found on 2.5L (4 cylinder) Chrysler engines shipped originally with

• Wrangler YJ, 1991-1995 (also requires passenger side mount support cradle, PN CR2569)
• Wranger TJ, 1997-2003 (no cradle required)
• Cherokee XJ, 1991-1996 (also requires passenger side mount support cradle, PN CR2569)
• Cherokee XJ, 1997-2000 (no cradle required)
• Comanche MJ, 1991-1992 (also requires passenger side mount support cradle, PN CR2569)
