All Steel Engine Brackets feature double-welded construction for extra strength. The cast aluminum bracket found on some 4 cylinder Jeep Wranglers and Cherokees are prone to failure under the torsional stresses associated with even "easy" offroad trails. Once you've seen a busted cast bracket, you'll know why we continue to use these for our own Wrangler. Identical bolt pattern to the original cast aluminum brackets. No engine block modification necessary. Fits 2.5L Jeep Chrysler engines. If you decide to install 1" or 2" Motor Mount Lifts in the future, these lipless brackets will not interfere like the lips on the cast originals.

High Performance Motor Mounts feature all-steel, double-welded construction. Stock-height, these are high-strenth replacements for the originals. Designed to stand up to the toughest trails Arizona can dish out. (Sorry Utah, we can't stand the cold.) The original mounts, designed for street driving, simply won't stand up to the torsional forces experienced offroad.  Maintains stock engine height at the cooling fan.

Ships with Grade 8 Hardware (or 10.9 metric equivalent) required to bolt engine brackets to existing engine block bolt pattern. Also includes new Grade 8 thru-bolts, lock nuts and washers for securing brackets to motor mounts. 

Looking for Motor Mount Lifts? Upgrade kits, KU2572-1 or KU2572-2, include 1" or 2" Motor Mount Lifts (MMLs) with the all-steel engine brackets. Unique lipless bracket design will not interfere with installation of 1" or 2" MMLs. 

Application Notes:
This kit replaces everything from the pylon to the block, both left/driver and right/passenger sides. Motor mounts bolt to pylon in same position, using same bolt holes as original configuration.  Kit includes new grade 8 through-bolts, washers and lock nuts for securing new motor mounts to new engine brackets. Engine brackets utilize existing bolt pattern found on 2.5L (4 cylinder) Chrysler engines shipped originally with

• Wrangler YJ, 1991-1995 (also requires passenger side cradle, PN CR2569, to support mount)
• Wranger TJ, 1997-2003 (no cradle required)
• Cherokee XJ, 1991-1996 (also requires passenger side cradle, PN CR2569, to support mount)
• Cherokee XJ, 1997-2000 (no cradle required)
• Comanche MJ, 1991-1992 (also requires passenger side cradle, PN CR2569, to support mount)
